Fifty London Identity Verification Requirements

1. Purpose and Scope

This document sets out the identity verification requirements applicable to all account holders and applicants at Fifty London. Identity verification is a mandatory compliance obligation under applicable United Kingdom regulations, including requirements established by the Gambling Commission and anti-money laundering legislation. All persons seeking to open, maintain, or access an account with Fifty London are subject to the procedures described in this policy.

The purpose of identity verification is to confirm that each account holder is the person claimed, to establish that the individual meets the minimum age requirement for participation, and to satisfy obligations under Know Your Customer and Anti-Money Laundering frameworks. This policy applies to all stages of the account lifecycle, including registration, withdrawal requests, account amendments, and periodic review.

Fifty London operates in accordance with the regulatory framework applicable to remote gambling operators in the United Kingdom. Identity verification obligations arise from the following sources:

  • The Gambling Act and associated Gambling Commission Licence Conditions and Codes of Practice
  • The Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing and Transfer of Funds Regulations
  • The Proceeds of Crime Act
  • Data protection legislation, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act

Compliance with these obligations is not discretionary. Failure by an account holder to complete identity verification within the required timeframe will result in restricted account access or account closure, as described in Section 6 of this policy.

3. Information and Documents Required

3.1 Identity Documents

Fifty London requires each account holder to provide documentation sufficient to confirm full legal name, date of birth, and residential address. Acceptable documents include, but are not limited to, the following categories:

Proof of identity:

  • Valid passport issued by a recognised national authority
  • Valid national identity card
  • Valid photocard driving licence issued by the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency

Proof of address:

  • Utility bill issued within the preceding three months
  • Bank or building society statement issued within the preceding three months
  • Council tax bill for the current billing period
  • Official correspondence from a government body confirming the account holder’s address

3.2 Source of Funds

In circumstances where compliance obligations require enhanced due diligence, Fifty London may request documentation evidencing the source of funds used in connection with the account. This may include payslips, bank statements, tax returns, or other financial records. The specific documents required will be communicated to the account holder at the time of the request.

3.3 Additional Verification

Fifty London reserves the right to request additional documentation at any stage of the account relationship where there is a reasonable compliance basis for doing so. This includes, but is not limited to, situations involving changes to account details, unusual account activity, or periodic review cycles.

4. Verification Procedure

4.1 Submission of Documents

Documents must be submitted through the designated secure channel specified by Fifty London at the time of the verification request. Submitted documents must be clear, legible, and unaltered. Photographs or scans must show all four corners of the document and must not be cropped, obscured, or digitally modified.

4.2 Processing Timeframe

Fifty London will process submitted documents within a reasonable timeframe following receipt. Where automated verification tools are used, confirmation may be provided more promptly. Where manual review is required, the account holder will be notified of the expected timeframe.

4.3 Outcome Notification

Following review, Fifty London will notify the account holder of the outcome of the verification process. Where verification is successful, account access will be confirmed or restored as applicable. Where verification cannot be completed on the basis of the documents submitted, Fifty London will communicate the reason and specify what further documentation is required.

5. Data Handling and Retention

All personal data and documentation submitted for identity verification purposes is processed in accordance with Fifty London’s Privacy Policy and applicable data protection legislation. Data collected for verification purposes is used solely for compliance, fraud prevention, and account management functions. It is not used for marketing or profiling purposes.

Verification records are retained for a minimum period of five years following the end of the account relationship, in accordance with anti-money laundering record-keeping requirements. Upon expiry of the applicable retention period, records are securely deleted or anonymised.

Fifty London implements appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect verification data against unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure.

6. Consequences of Non-Completion

Where an account holder fails to submit the required documentation within the timeframe specified by Fifty London, one or more of the following measures may be applied:

  • Suspension of withdrawal functionality
  • Restriction of account access
  • Suspension of the account pending receipt of documentation
  • Permanent closure of the account where documentation is not received within an extended period

Fifty London will communicate any restrictions applied to the account holder and will specify the steps required to restore full account access.

7. Age Verification

Fifty London does not permit participation by persons under the age of eighteen years. Age verification is conducted as part of the standard identity verification process. Where there is any uncertainty regarding an account holder’s age, Fifty London will apply account restrictions until age has been confirmed to the satisfaction of the company. This requirement is non-negotiable and applies without exception.

8. Account Holder Obligations

Account holders are required to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information at the time of registration and throughout the account relationship
  • Submit verification documents promptly upon request
  • Notify Fifty London of any changes to personal details, including name, address, or identity document status
  • Ensure that all documents submitted are genuine, current, and belong to the account holder

Submission of false, altered, or fraudulent documentation constitutes a serious breach of the applicable terms and conditions and may result in immediate account closure, forfeiture of funds, and referral to relevant authorities.

9. Contact

For queries relating to identity verification requirements or the status of a verification request, account holders may contact Fifty London through the support channels specified in the Contact section of the website. Queries should include the account reference number where available to facilitate prompt handling.
